About this HVAC records site
We read the terms of the software HVAC contractors schedule, dispatch and diagnose in, clause by clause, and the refrigerant and gas safety rules that decide what their files already hold.
Why we built this
An HVAC firm's service history is a detailed record of real faults and real fixes, and the terms of the platform it sits in were written before anyone asked whether it could be licensed.
Written for
Owners of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration contracting firms with years of service and maintenance history in a field-service or diagnostics platform.
What the site covers
A quote form for one question, "sell hvac data to ai", that runs right on the page with no sign-up, 4 guides on related questions, a table of figures you are free to cite (see the data and how it was made), and the list of sources behind every number.
- Can an HVAC company sell its service and dispatch records?: Can an HVAC company sell its service and dispatch records? The ownership, reuse and export clauses in 8 HVAC platforms' own terms, read 2026-10-31.
- HVAC software data ownership: who owns your service history: HVAC software data ownership, platform by platform: 4 of 8 vendors' terms say the contractor owns its data. Read 2026-10-31.
- HVAC refrigerant record keeping requirements, US and GB: HVAC refrigerant record keeping requirements: what EPA Section 608 and the GB F-gas Regulation make a contractor keep, and for how long, quoted from the rules.
- Selling an HVAC company? The service records are an asset too: Selling an HVAC company or closing one? Years of service, dispatch and refrigerant records can be licensed separately; what 8 platforms' terms allow.
What it will not do
- We never read a clause that says nothing as permission to sell.
- We do not ask for homeowners' names, addresses or call recordings to size a service history.
- No HVAC software vendor can pay to change what its row says.

How to reach us
Use Contact or write to enquiries@sellhvacdatatoai.com. The legal side is on Terms and Privacy.
No HVAC software vendor pays us for a row or a mention. If an HVAC contractor licenses its records to a buyer we introduce, the contractor pays us 12.5% of that licence as its exclusive agent, subject to a minimum, or about 10% where its records join a bundle or the pool, set in writing before anything is shared, and any fee the buyer pays us is taken off the contractor's share.
